Hi, I’m fairlie morgan

I am a fully accredited Psychologist with AHPRA and APS membership, as well as a Psychology Board of Australia endorsed Supervising Psychologist. I am also a Principal Master Instructor in Mental Health First Aid.

I have been working in a variety of mental health settings since I commenced training as a Psychologist in 1994. Since the completion of my training, I have worked in Adolescent and Family Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drug rehabilitation, private psychiatric hospital settings, and private practice.

In 2011 I moved into higher risk/first responder mental health settings, including the Royal Flying Doctor Service (both the Queensland and Victorian division), Indigenous Primary Health Care, a Centre of Excellence in trauma treatment, and the Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services Board (then the "MFB", now Fire Rescue Victoria) in Melbourne. I also consulted for a global Health and Safety organisation as a Senior Psychologist, where my focus was on pro-active organisational strategic interventions into mental fitness and wellbeing.

In 2018, I was awarded the MFB’s Chief Officer/Chief Executive Officer’s Special Recognition Award for “Outstanding contribution and leadership in mental health in the MFB”. This award was given in in recognition of my strategic and operational role in bring best practice mental health literacy and resiliency based training into the MFB, for all employees. This was an Australasian first for any first responder organisation.
