MHFA CONTENT
At least 1 in 5 Australians in any given year will be experiencing a common mental illness – and many of us don’t know how to best provide assistance. Completing a MHFA course will help you to develop the skills and confidence when supporting family, friends, co-workers and community members with issues such as:
• Depression;
• Anxiety Disorders;
• Substance Use Problems;
• Psychosis;
• A range of different crisis situations, including suicidal thoughts/behaviours, panic attacks, and traumatic events.

WHY MHFA
MHFA is an evidence based course that provides a nationally recognized Qualification as a Mental Health First Aider. It has been taken into over 24 countries across the globe, with over 4 Million people trained and counting. Organisations that train a proportion of their staff are eligible to achieve recognition as Skilled MHFA Workplaces .
MHFA courses can be run face-to-face, fully online (with an eLearning component), or a combination of both.
